On Thursday night, Nicole Franzel of Yubly was crowned the winner of the “Big Brother Reindeer Game,” taking home $100,000 in prize money.

As the final episode begins, the final four contestants gather at Santa’s Lodge on the eve of the reindeer games.

Tiffany from Big Brother 23 returned as one of Santa’s ambassadors to give players details on the reindeer game. In this game, he will have two challenges in the semi-finals, with the two winners going to the final.

She then explained the rules for the “Naughty and Nice” challenge. Players explore Santa’s Lodge, examining the paintings on the walls and identifying which ones are fakes replaced by mischievous elves.

Xavier soon discovers the forgery and gains the power of Note and Nice, giving him the privilege of choosing his opponent in the first challenge of the semi-finals. He chose Nicole, but Nicole also had the disadvantage of starting the challenge 30 seconds after Xavier.

In the first semi-final, Xavier and Nicole were tasked with “fixing” a giant nutcracker by arranging the wooden gears vertically in the correct order to make it work. Despite the unfavorable conditions, Nicole’s strategy of placing her gear from bottom to top and top to bottom at the same time proved correct and she broke the nut before Xavier. Nicole had secured one of the two remaining slots at Reindeer Games.

In the second semi-final, Taylor and Frankie faced off in a contest where they used a large slingshot to flip over pictures of naughty elves. After building a small lead, Frankie made an uncharacteristic mistake, allowing Taylor to win the challenge and earn the right to face Nicole in the final.

Players who were eliminated last time gathered for a final challenge, and even Santa Claus himself made an appearance. The final challenge he consists of three tasks. Retrieving magical mistletoe, freeing ancient antlers from mazes, and stacking sacred snowflake shards.

The first challenge involved Nicole and Taylor stacking large star-shaped pieces and building a ladder to climb up and retrieve the magical mistletoe. Taylor extended his lead early by reaching the top of the tree first and using his height advantage to jump up and grab the mistletoe.

The second challenge proved difficult for both players, as it involved maneuvering the Ancient Antlers through a vertical maze divided into movable parts. Nicole sent a shout out to his hometown of Oubry and said she sees a lot of deer living in his thumb. Taylor improvised a strategy and was the first to release the horns, moving on to the final test.

The third challenge involves Taylor and Nicole stacking four bags of puzzle pieces to form a large snowflake. As the snowflake sculpture repeatedly collapses, Nicole is quickly opened by Taylor. I filled in the gaps left. Her fellow contestants watched from the sidelines as the tense showdown unfolded, and Nicole successfully completed the sculpture, winning the reindeer game and a $100,000 prize.

According to press materials, Santa will invite nine iconic former Big Brother players to his magical world where the Reindeer Games will take place. Over his six action-packed holiday-themed episodes, Santa’s elves lead players through challenging and unpredictable competitions.

Each episode has three competitions, culminating in a “Santa Showdown” to determine which player goes home at the end of that episode. He is one of only four legends to advance to the finale, with one festive player taking home the $100,000 top prize and, of course, preserving the holidays.

This is Franzel’s latest appearance as a contestant on the Big Brother show. She finished in the top three contestants on Big Brother All Stars in 2020, and in 2016 she won the show’s 18th season.

Franzel also competed on “The Amazing Race” with her husband, Michigan State Police Trooper Victor Arroyo. The couple, who she met as contestants on “Big Brother,” now have one child together. They finished fourth on “The Amazing Race.”

Franzel first appeared on Big Brother during the 16th season in 2014, but was ejected twice on days 56 and 77, finishing in 10th place.

In addition to being a contestant on Big Brother, Franzel also appeared as the competition’s host on the 19th season in 2017.
