The story is set in a dystopian city of London where the working class must rely on theft and robbery to survive. Amid police raids and internal violence, the drama follows ex-convict Izzy (Cain Robinson) as he and his girlfriend try to leave their dystopian environment for a fresh start.

kitchen Plot – What we learned from the trailer
The new sci-fi thriller, co-directed by Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares, is set in a future London where the ruling class is ruthless and social housing has been abolished. The story pits them against the lower classes.
Kane Robinson, also known as Kano, stars in the role of Iji, the main character in the film. Robinson’s character, Izzy, is an ex-convict recently released from prison, and all he wants to do is get out of the kitchen and establish a new life for himself, after a young child, his son Benji. (Jedediah Bannerman).
Teaching Benji how to survive in a kitchen where regular police raids and office violence are commonplace is not easy. Despite this, the two estranged families try to survive by repairing their relationship and making up for the years spent apart.
In this action-packed tale of survival and chosen family bonds set against the backdrop of dystopian London, a hitherto absent father is forced to do everything in his power to keep his young man alive.
