Solana mobile device Saga, which recently sold out on Protocol’s official website, was rated as the worst phone of 2023 by renowned technology critic Marques Brownlee (MKBHD).

Investors have decided that memecoin’s recent price breakout points to this fact, and that it may be worth more than a mobile phone in the long run.
Will Solana Mobile fix Saga’s shortcomings?
This review by a YouTuber suggests that there may be some major flaws in the phone’s design. Solana Saga was designed as a crypto-first flagship Android smartphone with “Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1, 12GB RAM, 512GM Flash, 6.67-inch OLED display” specifications.
The phone is integrated with SMS in addition to inputs from OSOM Privacy. Defects that MKBHD may discover may be related to some of these specifications. Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana, reacted to a review posted by DEGEN News on his X app.
The blockchain company and the team responsible for designing the Saga phone may use this review to go back to the drawing board to resolve the issue. Doing so could potentially outperform market leaders over the long term, as Yakovenko previously suggested.
Cybersecurity firm CertiK had previously expressed some concerns. The claim was about Saga Mobile’s security, but Solana quickly debunked the claim. Now might be a good time to revisit that concern, or at least his other broader suspension of Solana, to allay the fears of those who bought the phone.
