Arizona Cardinals vs. Chicago Bears: Game predictions, picks, odds

The Chicago Bears (5-9) and Arizona Cardinals (3-11) will look to bounce back in Week 16 at Soldier Field.

The Cardinals’ game wasn’t that close last week, but both teams lost as the Bears pulled off a thrilling 20-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns. San Francisco’s powerful offense overwhelmed their defense, resulting in a 45-29 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

The Cardinals have fallen out of playoff contention, but the Bears’ chances of making the postseason are slim as no player from the NFC North has earned a berth yet. With three wins in the past five games, he is no longer in contention for the No. 1 draft spot.

Can the Bears get a win at home? Or will it rain on the Cardinals’ postseason parade?

Lorenzo Reyes: Bears 27, Cardinals 20

Chicago boasts one of the NFL’s top rushing defenses. This is useful when pocketing Kyler Murray’s hem. But Justin Fields is running out of opportunities to prove his worth as the team’s franchise quarterback, so I expect him to be sharp here.

Tyler Dragon: Bears 21, Cardinals 20

These two teams are in similar rebuilding situations. Players from both teams are auditioning for the 2024 job. But Matt Eberflus has been making the Bears play good football lately. Chicago has won two of its last three games.

Safid Dean: Bears 27, Cardinals 20

This could be a shootout between Justin Fields and Kyler Murray, but the Cardinals are one of the worst road teams in the NFL. Expect a great day from Chicago’s DJ Moore and Cole Kmet at this event.

Victoria Hernandez: Bears 24, Cardinals 17

In fact, the temperature in Chicago on Christmas Eve is expected to be a mild 51 degrees, which will still be cold for the Cardinals. And with Kyler Murray still not hitting his stride, weather is just one of many issues. Justin Fields and the Bears have narrowly missed out on a three-game winning streak and should take this home win.

Jordan Mendoza: Bears 27, Cardinals 19

Hail Marys aside, Chicago has been playing good football lately, and Justin Fields still makes a case for him as the franchise quarterback. He added another note to his resume as the Bears won for the third time in their last four games.
