The latest company to join this group is Anker’s Soundcore, offering the first open earbuds with AeroFit and Aerofit Pro. Looking at these stats, the Aerofit Pro may once again be Soundcore’s express ticket to be included in that roundup. The buds feature oversized 16.2mm titanium-coated dome drivers (14mm on non-Pro Aerofit) that take SoundCore’s famous bass sound to the next level.
Additionally, Android users can take advantage of LDAC decoding for a “richer and more detailed” audio experience. AeroFit Pro also includes 360 Spatial Audio, which allows sound to follow your head movements, keeping you at the center of everything.
In terms of battery life, AeroFit and AeroFit Pro offer 11 and 14 hours of playtime, respectively, and 42 and 46 hours of total playtime when using the charging case. Plus, a 10-minute charge adds up to 4 hours of playback time for AeroFit and up to 5.5 hours for AeroFit Pro.
Interestingly, the AeroFit Pro offers a lower ingress protection rating (IPX5), while the AeroFit offers an IPX7 water and sweat resistance rating thanks to Soundcore’s proprietary SweatGuard technology.
