I’ve never been in a profession that required tools like this. A 6-inch ruler in my desk drawer has always come in handy. However, professionals who require measurements, such as architects, designers, engineers, graphic artists, and other creative professions, will recognize the need for a smart ruler. When I forwarded his first press release to an architect friend, his response was, “Wow.”
Even though it’s a ruler, it’s one of those gadgets that requires you to read the instructions. It brings a completely customizable new way of measuring any measurement or scale. You can split the measurements you need without using a calculator and of course interact with the measurement tool in conjunction with the Meazor app (iOS and Android). Your data is transferred to the app, so you can continue working without worrying about losing it.
The smart ruler has a 1.14-inch screen on the front that displays measurements in easy-to-read numbers. This is very different from the small measurements printed on a ruler or tape measure. No more zooming in to see if it’s 1/16 inch or 1/32 inch. NeoRuler’s display shows you exactly what it is.
Measures with 300 LED lights and reads with an accuracy of plus/minus 0.004 inch.
The front tab slides in both directions and works with 300 LEDs to take measurements. When you slide the tab to the right, the light will turn on as you move, and when you move the tab to the left, the light will turn off. No matter which direction you slide quickly, the display will keep track of your readings. If a measurement needs to be split, the light will display the segments and increase or decrease proportionally depending on the direction of tab movement.

The portable NeoRuler (13 x 3.4 inches, 0.62 pounds) is ergonomic and well constructed from 6063 aluminum. The 900mAh rechargeable battery lasts up to 30 days before requiring USB-C charging.
The top three buttons are for controls. The triangle button is for return/cancel, the circle button in the center is for selection, and the square button on the right side is for mode change. Among the modes are unit conversion, scaling, and toggling split options for measurements.

The Webcam Flex can be placed on top of your desktop monitor, or you can place the base on a flat surface and adjust the arm to the desired angle. There are also screws at the bottom of the base for attaching other accessories.
