Jha: Parliament security breach: Main accused Lalit Jha burnt mobile phone to destroy evidence | Indian News

New Delhi: Lalit Ja is the fifth defendant and has been identified as the alleged mastermind of the security breach. parliament, reportedly destroyed the mobile phones of himself and his associates, including his friend Mahesh. According to police sources, he fled to Kuchaman in Rajasthan.
Prior to the incident, all four suspects had given their mobile devices to Jha in anticipation of his impending arrest, in an effort to prevent important investigative details from falling into the hands of law enforcement.
In Kuchaman, Jha was in touch with his friend Mahesh, whom he met through Facebook, as he revealed during his interrogation. However, the Delhi Police is currently verifying the accuracy of Jha’s statement. jarwho was present outside parliament, recorded a video of two of his accomplices for public release.
Before Jha’s surrender, the police introduced technical surveillance on Mahesh’s detained cousin Kailash and revealed that Mahesh and Lalit had gone to Delhi. Mr. Ja was later arrested after returning home.
According to Delhi Police, “Lalit Jha came alone to the police station after which the police arrested him and started interrogation.”
Meanwhile, Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Thursday granted seven-day remand to all the four accused in connection with the Parliament security breach case.

Additional Sessions Judge Dr Hardeep Kaur held that the accused persons namely Manoranjan D; sagar sharmaAmol Dhanraj Shinde and Neelam Devi will travel to Mumbai, Mysore and Lucknow for further investigation to uncover the real motive behind their actions.
Delhi Police said that the accused had obtained special shoes from Lucknow and canisters from Mumbai.
Police stressed that the incident was a well-planned conspiracy and an attack on the Indian Parliament. The police legal representative informed the court that the accused was in possession of a pamphlet declaring PM Modi as a missing person and offering a reward from a Swiss bank to anyone who found him.

The defendant portrayed the prime minister as if he were a criminal. Police registered an FIR under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and added Sections 16 (terrorism) and 18 (terrorist conspiracy) of the UAPA Act.
